The web is a fantastic place. Its full of great movies and TV. But how do you stand out? How do you survive a shoot? Here are three quick tips on creating your next project for the world wide web...

Be creative

It should go without saying, but some people still forget creativity in their work. Imagine very frame as a painting, every shadow a reflection of the character. This is your project, so make something new and intriguing to see.

Don't worry about failure

If your project goes wrong and looks horrible, or sounds bad. Don't worry. You have to start somewhere, and everyone has the failures in life. But its something to learn from. The next time something goes working, don't worry. Breathe, and learn from it.

Thumbnail

This is odd, yet very, very important in distribution. When you post a video online, the thumbnail needs to grab the audience straight away. It needs to entice them to hit play. Think of it as a cover to a book or album, or as a summary or visual representation of what they are about to watch.
